Breedlove SC10, German Spruce and Madagascar Rosewood

Breedlove SC10 - custom-ordered by a Breedlove fanatic who loves the simpler S-Series aesthetic, but who also has a taste for superb tonewoods. So he ordered this one with a Master Class German Spruce Top and Madagascar Rosewood back and sides (harder to find than Brazilian right now, so I am told.)

Premier Ivoroid binding and top purfling complete the look of this beautifully elegant guitar.Oh, and it's a FINGERSTYLE MACHINE. This is a wonderfully responsive instrument - Breedlove's shallow-body concert guitars have a rich tonality that in some cases can be jaw-dropping, given their relatively modest size.

This guitar has a sweetly balanced tone, with just enough authority in the bass, warmth through the mid-range and an articulate high end. While the woods selected for this guitar are of course top-notch, this is definitely a case where these woods have produced a guitar that exceeds already high expectations. Superb!
