Warrior Custom Shop Double Cutaway – Back Redwood Burl Guitar

This is yet another uniquely gorgeous instrument from the Warrior Custom Shop that I am lucky to have. This guitar starts with a Redwood body and set neck with matching top and bottom Black Redwood Burl caps. As the body is cut to shape it reveals the laminations of Dark Burl and Redwood with a fine Maple layer between. Unbelievable! The photos of the back show this off best. The top is accented with three separate strings of purfling down the center of the guitar that provide wonderful color to the dark Burl back ground and Gold Hardware.

With matching wooden knobs and a five way selector switch. The Redwood neck is laminated with Purple Heart and has Black and Gold Sperzel Tuners. The Gold Humbuckers are matched with a peizo bridge for true acoustic, electric, and blended tone. The twelfth fret is accented with a MOP sword inlay.

The feel and sound of this instrument is wonderful and typical of a Warrior Custom shop guitar at the same time, but they have managed to create another truly unique look with this instrument using a combination of woods and accents you won’t find anywhere else.
