This particular instrument is the Phoenix Rising Model essentially a solid body double cutaway design. It comes with an over the top Diamond Quilt Maple Top finished in the finest shade of “Ruby Red” I have ever seen over a solid Mahogany body. The entire body and neck are bound with natural flamed Maple. The unique McNaught headstock is covered in matching Quilt Maple with the same Ruby Red finish and is equipped with Gold Sperzel locking tuners. The truss rod cover and heal cap are covered in Quilted maple as well.

The Ruby Red top is offset by all Gold hardware and equipped with Jason Lollar Imperial pickups with cream surrounds. The control knobs and switches are placed in carved recesses in the top with the volume knob right where it needs to be just below the bridge. The guitar is also equipped with an LR Baggs Piezo bridge pickup system and preamp.
