Here is another example of a Breedlove Master Class Acoustic Guitar they are famous for. This is the North West Classic Model with a Sitka Spruce top and beautiful Myrtle wood body. For those of you unfamiliar with Myrtle wood is looks and sound a lot like Maple with that high crisp tone and can sometimes come with lovely brown figuring.
The combination of Myrtle and Sitka Spruce make this a fine instrument to play. The tone is even and bright, and the action of the neck is low and fast making this a very easy instrument to play. The body is bound in Master Class “V” shaped Walnut and a wide mother of pearl rosette around the sound hole.
The Ebony fretboard is adorned with several North Western Indian Totem style carving inlays that are the trade mark of this instrument. They are colorful and intricate against the ebony. All in all, this is a beautiful and great sounding instrument. Check out the other NW Classic we have on the site for comparison.
