Like all Mark I guitars from Breedlove it has a chambered body design that limits the weight to less than 7 pounds. The Maple neck is made from solid Maple and fast action with unlimited access to the higher frets. It has an Ebony fretboard and matching headstock. It is equipped with Gold and black Gotoh 510 tuners.

The fretboard has set of stylized custom lightning bolts inlayed into it that cover the entire neck. These are unique to the Mark I Calendar models. The Figured Myrtle top is equipped with Gold Hardware and Jason Lollar Imperial Pickups. The back of the Guitar is made from a highly figured dark Walnut that contrasts wonderfully with the lighter Myrtle wood top. The Walnut is continued down the back of the maple neck and on the heal cap.

The body shape of the Mark I Series is an asymmetrical single cutaway design that takes its design from the famous Breedlove CM acoustic. The top has a significant carve to it that further accentuates the Myrtle wood’s figuring. The guitar sounds wonderful as only a guitar equipped with Lollar Imperial pickups can.
