I have come to really enjoy Breedlove’s Auditorium guitars with their larger body shapes with tons of volume and deep bass tone. The A15 model here adds a soft cutaway to an already beautiful shape. This one comes with some select highly figured Myrtle for the body capped with a great Bear Claw Sitka top and Master Class contrasting Brazilian Rosewood bindings, and absolutely beautiful combination.
When you add all of this up you have a unique and phenomenal looking instrument. It is equipped with a Mahogany neck and Gold and Black Gotoh 381 tuners. The Bear Claw Spruce top is highly figured and adds wonderful tone to this great guitar. It has a Master Class Abalone Rosette with more of the beautiful Brazilian Rosewood lining the lip.
As the photos show this is a stunningly beautiful guitar but what does it sound like? The Myrtle adds a crystalline clear tone that is balanced by the Bear Claw Spruce top. The top adds plenty of midrange and the over all volume and bass are generated by the larger auditorium body. This is an exceptionally beautiful guitar with some unique accents.
