Abyss Custom Double Cut Away Electric Guitar

This is another example of the masterful design of Abyss Custom Guitars. This time it is a double cut away, through neck design in a Cherry Burst color. The body and neck are of Mahogany with a Select Flamed Maple top that a Tiger would be proud of.

It has flamed maple bindings on the body and head stock with chrome hardware, and Schaller tuners with a Tone Pros bridge. The pick-ups are Seymour Duncan with a JB at the bridge and a 59 at the neck, again a classic combination. As with all Abyss guitars there is absolutely no heal to the neck allowing for easy access to the higher frets.

While there is no inlay on this instrument, it hardly needs it with this top and color scheme. The burst on this top starts with almost a green apple center and turns to the brightest Cherry color on the edges, a very unique combination over the flamed maple top.

We have another Abyss being built right now in transparent back over flamed maple with a tiger maple neck and high gain EMG pick-ups that is special for Imagine Guitars and should be spectacular. We can not wait.
