Gretsch 6121w Round-Up
Here's a very cool Gretsch solid body - the 6121W Roundup. This instrument
has an arched maple top with "G" brand on the upper bout, two-piece
mahogany body, Mahogany neck, dual DynaSonic™ single-coil pickups, polished
Bigsby® B3CB vibrato tailpiece, rosewood fingerboard, vintage "wide-block"
position markers engraved with full western motif, Grover® Stay-Tite machine
heads, "arrow" knobs, and gold hardware.
The scale length of this guitar is 24.6" (625mm), with a nut width of
1 11/16". The fretboard is Rosewood, 22 frets with a 12" radius.
Body is 13.5" wide, 1.75" deep. The control scheme includes a 3-way
toggle for pickup selection, separate volume controls for each pickup, and
a master tone and master volume.
Other features/appointments include aged Vintage Wide-Block Pearloid Inlay
Position Markers with Western Motif of Cactus and Steerheads and Fences, "G"
Brand on the Body, Aged Fingerboard and Headstock Binding, Multiple Aged Body
Bindings, Inlaid Aged Pearloid Steerhead and Gretsch Logo on Headstock, Gold
Plexi Pickguard, Arrow Knobs, Knurled Strap Retainer Knobs, Adjustable Truss
Rod.
Instrument is in mint condition - plastic film still covers all the cover
panels on the back of the guitar and the pickguard (as you will see from the
pictures, the plastic on the plate on the back of the treble horn is rolled
up halfway. I did not have the heart to rip it off completely - I'll give
the new owner that pleasure!) This is a one-owner guitar - a good customer
of mine purchased this 6121 and a Gretch Rancher acoustic together, but traded
this one in against a Breedlove acoustic as he never gets to play it. All
original paperwork is present, and the original Gretsch hardshell case is
included.
Current retail price on this guitar is $2,925.
