Giffin Micro
This is a one-of-a-kind Giffin Micro - the only one produced with a Koa
top. What is a Giffin Micro? Here's the scoop, in Roger Giffin's own words:
"The idea behind the Micro was to produce a very lightweight, compact
guitar that performed like a full-sized instrument. I started with a 24
3/4," 24 fret neck and designed the smallest practical body & head
around it. The result was a highly playable, killer sounding guitar that
weighed no more than 5-6 lbs. (This design also spawned the Steinberger
'M' series guitars.)"

minutes to familiarize yourself with the man and his work - click
here. Ok, read all that? Good. And did you take a look at some of the
other guitars he's built? No? Ok, go back and do that later. I've got a
Micro to describe!
The guitar weighs around 5lbs, but I assure you it is no lightweight in
terms of tone and playability. First, this Micro is incredibly resonant
when played acoustically. You can just FEEL when a guitar builder has gotten
that part right, and this Micro resonates from end to end with every note.
Dual P90 pickups provide the electric signal... these pickups deliver everything
from a crispy clean single-coil tone, to a really nice, edgy pushed sound.
I gave this guitar a workout through my Bad Cat Black Cat amp at band rehearsal,
and my bandmates were taken aback at the tone coming out of a guitar of
this size.
Includes hardshell case as pictured. Condition is mint.
