Here we have a Terry C. McInturff "TCM Monarch", with a solid mahogany
body under a beautiful transparent "Tangerine" finish (orangeish
red). This instrument sports a single/single/P900 pickup configuration, controlled
by a 5-way selector switch, and master tone and volume pots. Also equipped
with a Tremolo bridge and a self-lubricating composite nut. Neck profile is
TCM's "57" carve. Tuners are locking Sperzels in chrome. A Mother
of Pearl "Paua Shell Rope" inlay adorns the fretboard.
This guitar is in excellent condition - the only thing keeping it from mint
is a small rough patch on the side of the headstock, on the bass side of the
instrument - basically right where a guitar hanger arm would contact the headstock
on the bass side. Possibly from mechanical causes, but I suspect reaction
with rubber on a display hanger, or something. I have not tried to remove
or buff it out.
