Here, we have a tasty 1998 Gibson Les Paul Custom, in Alpine White. Totally
stock, with the exception of a Buzz Feiten tuning system retrofit. If you're
not familiar with this modification,
find
out more here. The result is a Les Paul that has spot-on intonation all
over the neck - really cool! If you ever wanted to reverse the mod, though,
that would be easy. You'd remove a small graphite (?) shim that has been placed
in front of the nut, and then reintonate the guitar at the saddle. The Feiten
modification and a related set-up and fret dress were performed by an authorized
retrofitter in L.A.
Excellent condition with a few slight/minor dings. The only thing worthy of
mention is a belt scrape-type mark on the back. I've tried to picture it below,
but the finish is solid throughout so it is rather hard to see.
If you know the Les Paul Custom, you know what you're looking at... this is
an awesome guitar and it sounds terrific, too. I took this instrument in on
trade from a friend who is thinning the herd in order to buy a nice acoustic
guitar. He misses it already, but he was just not using it that much. Comes
with a G&G deluxe hardshell case (made in the U.S.A.)
