Here's a great SC25 that I like to call... the Workingman's Northwest. This
guitar is made with a Sitka Spruce top and beautiful Myrtlewood back and sides,
just like Breedlove's Northwest Classic model. A classy "Focus"
inlay in mother of pearl adorns the neck as part of Breedlove's Performance
Package, which also includes top Purfling, a neck strap pin, and a Fishman
Pro Blender installed and ready to go.
This guitar sounds great - it has the vibe of a Breedlove maple, with a focused
tone, excellent string-to-string balance, with the responsiveness and playability
that I've come to expect in every custom-shop Breedlove. The Fishman Blender
package gives you a very versatile amplification set-up, allowing you to mix
condenser and under-saddle transducer signals on the fly. Visually, this instrument
is a stunner, with a nicely figured Myrtlewood back, and a tightly grained
Sitka Price top set off with crisp black binding.
