Breedlove CM Custom

Select Western Red Cedar Top
Select Walnut Back, Sides, Neck
Master Class Bloodwood Binding
Abalone Top Purfling

I'm privileged to be able to offer for sale yet another fantastic Breedlove CM Classic. Actually, this one is a CM Custom - basically the Classic with Abalone purfling bordering the top. I've had the pleasure of selling quite a few of these wonderful instruments, in a combination of tone woods. I've had Sitka/Rosewood (darkly resonant, as you might expect), Sitka/Maple (very cool, beautifully voiced), and I've even had one in Engelmann and Myrtlewood with a Myrtlewood bind (a very unique and very astounding instrument.) But I've always had a soft spot for the CM Classic in its stock incarnation - Western Red Cedar and Walnut, with a Bloodwood binding. In this incarnation, the Breedlove CM is one of the most responsive and tonally rich guitars you could hope to put your hands on. It's just glorious, and I am not sure I can do much justice to this guitar in words. I love 'em.

This particular Breedlove CM Custom was restocked by Breedlove following time spent at a dealer showroom. The showroom was by appointment only, so this guitar likely saw very little traffic. Judging from the condition it is in (drop-dead mint), you might even conclude that it saw no traffic at all.

Current retail price for this instrument is $6,999.00. I am including a top-of-the-line TKL case, normally a $449 retail item. Also includes Breedlove one year Tried and True warranty.

AUCTION TERMS

1. A Message for New Users

Everybody's a new user at some point, but all of the non-paying bidders I have encountered so far have all been new users (people with 0 to 3 feedback entries). Winning an item and then not paying for it is costly for me, and more importantly, it consumes my time. So please understand that your bid is a legally binding commitment, and don't bid if you are not serious about buying the item in question.

So... BEFORE you bid, please take a moment to make sure you are ready to buy this item for a price up to and including the amount of your maximum bid. If you can't answer that question with a resounding "YES!", please do not bid. It is as simple as that.

If you bid, win, and then don't follow through, you're going to get reported to ebay (a necessary step in the drawn-out process of recouping my selling fees), and you're going to get negative feedback.

2. Payment Terms

Payment is accepted in the following forms: Paypal, Visa/MC (U.S. only), Postal Money Order (US or International), Cashier's Check or Bank Draft. Wire transfers also possible. I do not accept COD or Western Union - absolutely no exceptions! Payment in full, including all shipping and insurance charges, is due within 3 days of auction close.

3. International Bidders

If you are outside the United States, YOU MUST CONTACT ME PRIOR TO BIDDING and provide your name, ebay I.D., and some sort of contact information. I will not ship to an international destination unless you contact me prior to bidding and I give you explicit permission to bid via email prior to auction close. Failure to do so will result in bid cancellation. I do not wish to bar the populations of entire countries from bidding on my items, but by the same token, don't ask if I will ship a guitar to Indonesia with payment by direct credit card - if I think it sounds fishy, it's not happening!

4. Shipping

Buyer pays actual charges for shipping and insurance (required) via UPS. There is no handling charge, no box charge, no B.S. Instrument will ship in a Breedlove factory shipping box.

5. Second Chances

If you are interested in this instrument, be sure to place a bid. If the high bidder fails to close the deal, I will contact other bidders in order of bid amount to discuss purchase of this instrument via the ebay "Second Chance Offer" system.

6. Sales Tax

Residents of the State of Washington, USA must pay 7.7% sales tax on total purchase price including shipping.

7. In Conclusion...

Thanks for reading the terms. Please email me prior to bidding if you have questions. Thanks, and good luck!
