Taylor NS62ce

Grand Concert Nylon String Guitar
Engelmann Spruce Top
Big Leaf Maple Back & Sides
Rosewood Binding
Fishman Prefix Pro

This is a 2002 Taylor NS62ce - nicely appointed Taylor Nylon, and the perfect guitar for a Taylor fan who's been looking to transfer technique to a nylon stringed instrument. The NS62ce has a top of Engelmann Spruce, and a back/side set of Big Leaf Maple. A crisp binding of Rosewood complements both tone woods in a very classy and striking way, and the Mexican Cypress rosette and Cocobolo peghead overlay and bridge set everything off nicely. This guitar has the Fishman Prefix Pro system installed. I believe this particular unit uses a combination of two transducers - one undersaddle and one soundboard, rather than the UST/mic combo I have seen on other Prefix systems.

This guitar has a very pleasing tone acoustically, and it sounds really good plugged in, too. If you're a Taylor fan and are looking to add a nylon-stringed guitar to your collection, take a good look at this one! Condition is excellent - just very light playwear in the form of a few very tiny depression-type dings in the top.
