For your consideration, Imagine Guitars proudly presents another superb preowned instrument... a very nice 1997 Taylor 710ce Dreadnought. This guitar is in excellent condition, with only a few tiny finish dings keeping it from being aptly described as mint.

This instrument has a top of Sitka Spruce, with a nice mellowed color to it. The back is of East Indian rosewood - a very striking, even and straight grain pattern, accented by a five-piece marquetry running between the two pieces of the matched back set. The fingerboard markers are round abalone dots - really attractive, simple but striking. The body is black-bound with top and side purfling, and the soundhole rosette sports yet more Abalone.

I've played numerous Taylors over the past five years. The first one I owned was a '95 412, and while it was simply appointed in Sitka and Mahogany, it remains one of the better sounding Taylors I have come across. I'm putting this one in that same camp, in terms of feel and sound. I don't know if there was anything special going on in the mid to late 90's at the Taylor factory, but this guitar has pretty much everything you'd want in a basic rosewood dreadnought, and with the Fishman Prefix system on board, you're ready for the stage too.

Includes Taylor molded hardshell case. Please email with any questions you may have, and read my auction terms before bidding.
