Fuchs Black Jack21 Guitar Amp – Great Tone at Lower Power

Representing a new direction for Fuchs Audio Technology, the Blackjack 21 brings the high build quality and awesome tones people expect from Fuchs Products to a new more affordable price range. The Blackjack 21 is based on a dual 12AX7 preamp stage with a push-pull dual 6V6 fixed bias output stage. Unlike other amps in this price range, the Blackjack 21 has a full compliment of extremely flexible tone controls. A liberal amount of clean headroom is available before the output stage begins distorting with a sweet yet cutting rock edge. Voiced like its sibling the Train 45 and Lucky 7, the Blackjack 21 has a classic rock voice similar to a vintage Marshall or Trainwreck style amp, but with a more manageable power level. Its tone provides a cutting rock edge, filled with harmonic richness and chime.

The chassis is aircraft aluminum, and the internal construction is mixed PC board and hand wired. The preamp tubes and power supply are on the circuit card, while the power tubes and transformers are mounted directly on the chassis. By using single point grounding, the amp is quiet and free of hum at all operating levels.
